    • restaurant needs more staff and better service - extremely slow response for a la carte, poor quality cycles, activities like badminton and picklebal ending at 6pm!!!!
    • booking was very chaotic, the garden rooms were near another resort that was blasting music, so the quiet was gone. Buggy service was at times non-existent.

I have stayed at some of the best beach resorts in mainland India and this beats Taj Holiday Village Goa or Taj Fisherman Cove or Taj Exotica Goa or Leela Kovalam and this beats them for sure. The main pool is the biggest I have stayed in worldwide, almost like a lagoon that happens to be a very well maintained pool. we actually kayaked on this main lagoon pool and it was great experience. There is another infinity pool right on the beach, which was go-to location for pool given my preference. The property is huge (40 odd acres) with very dense greenery and walkways to explore. The beach was clean, but they dont have beach beds on the beach (probably bec of regulations). Water though can be choppy, so best to not to go too deep into the water (the hotel life guard, generally around when one goes to the beach). Also, saw a few traveller videos on youtube, and trust me, they dont do justice to the place. Service was great and prompt. One of the nights i rquested turn down service at 1130pm and it was done prompty. Kudos to the housekeeping team. Takes about 1.5 hrs from Chennai airport and Uber works very well.

Great beach. Great Infiniti pool. Really pretty meandering pool. We liked the hotel and beach so much, we never left the hotel over two nights, except to walk on the beach.

While all staff are very friendly, some have poor English skills

The ambiance and it was clean

The customer service at morning breakfast area. The tables were not cleaned. We were offered a table to sit but it was not cleaned. They told us it will be cleaned while we took the food. We waited for more than 10 mins and after talking to 3 different people, they finally cleaned it. We had to ask for water for 3 times. When we checked out We raised our concern. The guy at the reception was very nice and empathetic, but the manager in charge didn’t care at all.

    3GuillaumePosted on: 10-20-2025

    The swimming pool

We had to ask things several times to get them done (and sometimes even help ourself in front of the staff without any reaction)Towels and bed sheets had stains on them.Despite our request the kid bed was not ready at our arrival we checked in at 11pm and had to ask several time to get it ready. One extra bed was charge even if included in the room. We had to go to the front desk to get it cancelled.Regarding the price, the service is not at expected level, it’s far away.

I like the location, Especially for a family

Didn’t like anything from the arrival. When any guests arrive at any hotel, staff would help for luggages. But for us, they didn’t help us. Instead Staffs were playing among themselves watching us handling the luggages.Check-in process was fine. We booked seaside chalet room after looking at their picture on their website. After reaching the room, we were not happy. They allotted us ground floor with no sea view. I called and asked them 1st floor with sea view. They assigned 1st floor room with garden view. Grrrr… very much disappointed. We ignored it for the moment and my husband went to the reception at night and asked for different room. The receptionist agreed to shift the room next day morning.Next day came, we packed everything but no one reached out. We decided to stay in the same room. Suddenly the AC water was leaking inside the room from ceiling like a waterfall. My husband again went to the reception and checked. The other receptionist was not there and there was a lady receptionist. Explained everything. She told she will assign a room after people check out at 12pm. Meanwhile someone came and fixed the leaking problem. Husband came back. Don’t know what happened. We received a call from that lady receptionist within 15 minutes and said there are no rooms would be available to shift. Again disappointed and we didn’t want to proceed further as our vacation time were running out.We were about to leave for lunch and accidentally met a staff named karthick. He asked same feedback questions. I explained everything . Also i told him that we would have booked cheaper room with pool view instead of this. He promised that he will give a good solution after contacting duty manager. As promised, he came back with a sea view room !!!! That lady receptionist lied !!!Anyway we got a nice sea view room and guess what, our vacation got over ?Beware of seaside chalet rooms. Its better to go with pool view / garden view rooms.

The property has a beautiful location and the pool area is definitely one of its highlights – clean, spacious, and well maintained. However, beyond that, the experience was rather underwhelming.

The breakfast spread was disappointing – nothing special or exciting, and the taste was quite bland. It felt repetitive and lacked variety. The rooms, though spacious, are showing their age and clearly need renovation. Furniture and fittings look dated, and overall upkeep could be much better for a resort of this standard. The front desk staff were polite but seemed more interested in upselling services rather than genuinely assisting guests, which was off-putting and felt unprofessional.

Beautiful resort, amazing breakfast and great facilities.

Unlike normal 5 star resorts and hotels, where the staff generally greet you with a smile, here to my complete disappointment, I found none who were cheerful or with a smile. Many of them rather carried a strange coldness in their behaviour. That is not expected from such big names.

Lovely meandering pool, lush greenery, within 5 mins of the temples. Amazing food at both restaurants. Very comfortable rooms ( stayed in the pool facing chalets). Spa and staff - Athithi and Melody were very welcoming and professional. The manager Santosh went out of his way to rectify initial issues I had and make my stay memorable. Priyanka at the reception was also keen to take feedback as I checked out.

All the staff- from reception to security and buggy drivers to lifeguards- can do with a little training on welcoming guests- more smiles, polite questions, good mornings etc. I had also complained about unresponsive room service on the first night and it was immediately addressed. Both the bars were very dull and lackluster, and bartenders not very knowledgeable. For such a lovely beachside property, this is quite surprising. The poolside fountains could be turned on considering they all seem connected. There are a lot of crows but likely can’t be helped due to the nearby fishing village. They were bursting crackers to scare them away though. It won’t stop me from returning.

The nearest luxury property near the surf break. The rooms are clean and look really good from inside. I stayed at the second lobby during the first half of my booking which was near the beach and it was very handful to get to where I need to.

The food. Many people I know have got food poisoning including myself. The room 26 I was at lacked proper air ventilation. The air felt dirty and I got a flu just from the AC. And the room is too far from the restaurant and buggies take long time.

Lovely rooms, good location, generally good service - staff at the breakfast counter were friendly despite the full house.

Restaurant staff seemed to be under some sales pressure, repeatedly asking us to order drinks was a little annoying (maybe it was my mood that saw it as such. They were generally very polite and helpful)

Great staffs like Arati in the breakfast area , receptionist who I forgot the name , Suresh buggie guy and valet guy another Suresh (tall) and muktar and desigan from housekeeping and one more boy in the housekeeper all great and in the restaurant Kajal all super Personalised attention perfect.

The pool side chalet was an excellent choice we made for our stay. The pool was at our doorstep and it made all of us feel comfortable when our young children were at the pool. The pool side chalet rooms were spacious than what we had expected and the upholstery and the furnishings were tastefully curated. Most importantly, the staff working during the breakfast buffet went above and beyond to give us the best service available. We were a party of 24 with our family ranging from 7 years to 78 years old, and we were taken care of exceptionally well. Mr.Abraham and his team's hospitality made Radisson Blu Temple Bay's stay truly memorable.

There are always people working around busily under harsh weather conditions and you would still see them smile and greet you.

We stayed at Radisson Blu Temple Bay for 4 nights, staying in two sea villa cottages.First of all, the location is nice and quite central. The resort is on the beach, and is spread out over a large area. The resort grounds are well maintained and the pools are quite nice.Second, the villas themselves -- they seem a little bit outdated but overall are clean and spacious. The fixings etc could be more modern but these are minor points.Third, the service was excellent. Would like to highlight the F&B manager - Mr. Abdul who went above and beyond to help with whatever request we may have, given we had two small kids. All dietary restrictions were accommodated, and they were kind enough to pack us many goodies on the day we left on a roadtrip! The room-service times are long given the spread of the resort (40-45mins) but Mr. Abdul made sure everything was seamless as it could be. The food quality in general was quite good, but for vegetarians, it could be a bit better/more diverse. As a matter of comparison, we have stayed at Taj Fisherman cove a few years ago. The Taj was better in terms of accommodation (more modern and luxurious) and the sea villas were right on the beach (there was a security fence here), but the service at the Radisson was better, largely due to Mr. Abdul.Overall, A+.

    Everything was wonderful.

The room was excellent, and so was the staff, everyone was friendly and out spoken, the best part is breakfast, we really enjoyed the place overall ☺️

Cleanliness!! Cleanliness!! And obviously cleanlinesss!!! Green green everywhere!! Private pool was really exceeded our expectations. Pure crystal clear pool water, automatically cleansing throughout our stay.! Authentic tasty food at the restaurant and in room dining food presentation was outstanding!!!! Jaw dropped moments at the private pool!!! We enjoyed like crazy!! Perfect stay for the people with kids! My kids aged 3 and 9 they were on cloud nine all the time!!!

Few lizards and at the pool and washroom area. U can’t complain because the entire area and atmosphere was filled with green trees and plants and flowers. We can hear soothing forest atmosphere noise everywhere.

    7ThulasiPosted on: 5-11-2025

The pool and the night ambience.

Life guard is very old to be a life guard for the pool. Lav mirrors were dirty. Shower area were dirty. Receptionist said I was upgraded without asking me to pool view chalet when I booked for garden view. Poor response when called on the phone for assistance.
